About Docsroom
We built it for ourselves first.
Docsroom started as the tool we wished we had. It still is.
Most of our time was not spent on the work itself. It went on asking people for the documents and answers the work needed, chasing the ones that did not come, and finding them again when they arrived in the wrong place. Anyone who depends on other people loses time the same way.
We tried shared folders. We tried a portal that made people create accounts. We tried a spreadsheet of who owed what. What worked, in the end, was a list: one line per thing, with a name against it and a status both sides could see. Docsroom is that list, with the chasing built in.

What we believe
A link that shows only what is theirs is safer and simpler than an account.
A file without its question is a file you will look for again.
Chasing that does not know when to stop is worse than no chasing.
Docsroom is not your email, your e-signature service or the software you run the rest of your work on. It does one job properly and hands the result over.
